The Duo-Shot Penetrator

This is perhaps one of the few sci-fi weapons that I've seen that actually looks like it could be used accurately, if only over moderate distances, due to the presence of what appear to be iron sights above the barrel, in the front and rear of the gun. It just seems to me that many sci-fi guns forget to add something that allows its user to accurately aim with them, such as iron sights, a scope, a red dot sight, or a holographic sight for example.
